WCPL FUNDING CRISIS HALTS BOOKMOBILE SERVICES

The Washington County Public Library has halted its program of services through the bookmobile due to the shortage of funds.  For several years the bookmobile has been providing additional reading resources, including Accelerated Reading Books, to Washington County Public Schools.  At Fruitdale High School, students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade could check out books from the bookmobile.  These books and resources also included materials for research projects. The bookmobile will be greatly missed by the students and staff at F.H.S.
